  31. Sun was also many orders of magnitude larger than NeXT when NeXT released  
  32. the NeXTstations.  Here it's a year or two later and Sun is just now  
  33. catching the price/performance of the box that NeXT released that long ago.   
  34. I don't think we should assume that NeXT *cannot* compete in hardware, when  
  35. history has shown that they do a pretty reasonable job of competing there.

  37. (though I should stress that I very much agree that it's about time for NeXT  
  38. to think about repricing their hardware, and I also agree that I'd like to  
  39. see NeXTSTEP ready for more hardware platforms)
