- My division has decided to buy a color printer for our network of Suns,
- PeeCees and (soon) one NeXT. We want the print to hang off the NeXT, but
- here's the problem: the NeXT color printer is o.k. output, we'd prefer
- something like the Tek Phase PXIIi plain paper printer (~$9k), BUT
- the NeXT has NO PARALLEL PORT!
-
- Just think, a 3-4Meg Postscript file could take 20minute to send over
- a serial line - totally unacceptable.
-
- Has anyone found an alternative? Are there 'good' printers that support
- SCSI input (many have SCSI for a hard disk, but not input)?
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
