  12. My old R/W Optical Drive is starting to have spin problems.  However, I
  13. did try cleaning it (with that fancy tool they sold) and tried other 
  14. ODs.  I'm afraid that the problem might be that the laser diode is
  15. getting weak.  Does that sound plausible? 
  16.  
  17. Has anyone had experience fixing this problem when cleaning doesn't work?
  18. Any comments would be GREATLY appreciated.
