  11. Considering an environment with:
  12.     - Token Ring LAN present, which is connected (by a bridge)
  13.       to an IBM (MVS) host system
  14.     - Several PC's connected to the Token Ring
  15.     - a new-to-install NCR3450
  16.  
  17. Is it possible to let the 3450 communicate with the SNA host by
  18. using the Token Ring for transport INSTEAD of a direct SDLC
  19. connection (normally connected to some MPCA in the 3450).
  20. I want to do RJE, 3270 emu etc. to the SNA host. Since there is
  21. a connection to the host present (the Token Ring), it would be
  22. nice to use that instead of installing a seperate SDLC connection.

  25. Also, can a MCA (Multi-Protocol Communications Adapter) be used
  26. for both SDLC and Token Ring ? Or does Token Ring require a
  27. seprate card ?
