- I just downloaded Rtrace the other day and tries to run it - not enough
- RAM. So I tried rebooting with the shift key down to disable all extensions.
- This gave me 2950k of RAM (I'm running on an LC 4/40) and Rtrace needs 3000k.
- Is there anything I can do to decrease the system usage any further. I'm
- running a very anemic version of system 7.1 as it is. I realize that the LC
- is not really the best platform for this type of thing, especially since I
- don't have an FPU. (I realize that Rtrace needs one, but I have been hearing
- runors about software emulations of an FPU and figured I would try and find
- one)
-
- Question two! I have been hearing rumors about the LCIII, the 25MHz
- 68030 with a full 32 bit path. Supposedly, it will be offered at near the
- same price as the current LCII (or Performa 400) Will there be an upgrade
- path fro the LC to the LCIII? Or if not, how much can I sell an LC for since
- I could use the opportunity to increase my hard drive space. Thanks for any
- help!!
