- Okay, here's the story...
- I was reading an old MacWorld article about the newest accelerator boards.
- One thing they said, especially in regards to System 7.0's virtual memory,
- that there was no way Apple could guarantee 100% compatibility.

- That may be true, but now that system 7.1 supports "system enablers"
- (system files that contain the patches necessary to run 7.1 on the new
- Macintosh platforms). Well, if Apple can make system enablers for the
- IIvx and PowerBook Duos, why not make enablers for, say, a Mac IIci with a
- Radius Rocket 040 accelerator board? Or release tech specs, so the
- accelerator board makers can create one themselves?
