-
- I have been having a severe problem with Suitcase 2.1.2 also.
- With Suitcase 2.1.2 installed, I get a 100% consistent system
- crash (bus error) when attempting to print. The crash occurs
- as soon as the Mac makes contact with the printer.
-
- I run a IIcx and went so far as to remove ALL Non-7.1
- (Apple's) inits & Cdevs from 7.1 (except LaserWriter driver)
- to see if there was a conflict.
-
- With all of these removed, printing proceeded perfectly. With
- *ONLY* Suitcase 2.1.2 installed (and LaserWriter driver),
- crashes occurred 100% of the time.
-
- I've gone through all the usual gyrations of replacing the
- extensions one at a time and in groups with no success. Also
- tried dropping back to LaserWriter driver 7.1.1. No success.
-
- If anyone has any insight into this, or has been having this
- problem with Suitcase 2.1.2, I would be grateful for any info
- you might be able to supply. E-mail preferred.
