  11. Dear Readers,

  13. This is the first time I am posting to this news group so I
  14. hope my question is in the correct place and provides all the
  15. information relevant to the problem.

  17. A Macintosh IIx that I use, of late frequently gives me a 
  18. 'Stack Heap Collision Error'. The error most frequently
  19. occurs when I try to run Canvas 2.0. However, other apps
  20. also often crash with this message. I am running Finder 6.1.8
  21. and system 6.0.8. 
  22.  
  23. Any help on what this error means and how it may be tackled 
  24. would be greatly appreciated.
