- I called Connectix today and asked again about MODE32 and System 7.1.
- After explaining that I had been using it without any problem with VM and
- 32 bit addressing on an SE/30 as had others, I was told the following.
- They have never actually seen the susposed incompatiblity with VM and 32
- bit addressing under MODE32 and System 7.1 in house at Connectix. They also
- had not heard of problems with Mac SE/30s. However, they had had calls
- about Mac II's which seem to be fixed by moving the NuBus cards around.
- Also, it is a do or die problem that will either crop up immediately or
- not at all. The bottom line appears to be if you have an SE/30 don't
- worry. If you have a Mac II or IIx, try it and if it bombs move a card or
- two around. The Apple system enabler apparently won't be out until 1st
- quarter 93.
