- You need to be careful here. Suitcase II and Suitcase 2 are NOT the same
- (and I really wish FGS had thought before they decided to create this
- situation).
-
- Suitcase II is the older of the two. I've now forgotten version numbers,
- but when Suitcase 2 was released, FGS did a "final" upgrade to Suitcase II
- and made the updater available free, *for all people who chose not to
- purchase the upgrade from Suitcase II to Suitcase 2*. I certainly don't
- speak for FGS, but I would doubt that they have any further plans to
- upgrade Suitcase II.
-
- Suitcase 2 was a (relatively low-cost) upgrade for users of Suitcase II.
- The current version is 2.1.2. I am told that it is compatible with System
- 7.1, but I can't verify this as we haven't upgraded to 7.1 yet.
-
- I think the bottom line is that if you are using Suitcase II and want to go
- to System 7.1, you'll now have to upgrade to Suitcase 2.
