  31. the gateway comes with system software, so does the mac
  32. you have to pay to upgrade both
  33. they both come with free software (though the pc comes with more and,
  34. some may argue, more usefull software, in that you have a choice about
  35. what you get and such)

  37. so you pretty much get the same hardware/software packaging/cost
  38. arrangement with both except that the mac costs a lot more
