- Ok, so I've received my System 7.1 upgrade, and ATM 3.0. Last night I
- installed them on my PB140. Originally I had moved my Finder aside
- and renamed my old System Folder, but during the install I noticed that
- the installer wanted to look at my System file (not there) to find
- Fonts and Sounds. So I made a copy of my System file, placed it in
- a new System Folder, and restarted the install. So far so good.
-
- The install completed and all my fonts are in the Font folder.
- I noticed that the TrueType fonts were in suitcases with their
- respective bitmap fonts. Should the Postscript fonts go in the
- suitcase as well?
-
- I was able to print just fine with my Postscript fonts in the font
- folder. However, one of the Postscript font files had the same name
- as the matching suitcase with the bitmap fonts, so I renamed the Postscript
- font file. Will this work?
-
- The documentation provided with the upgrade focused more on the new
- Numbers and Dates control panels, and hardly mentioned the Fonts folder.
