- I am learning to program the Mac by the seat of my pants (i.e. without
- Inside Macintosh, using only the Inside Mac DA, the Think C example
- programs, and a lot of trial and error) and have been doing OK until I
- wanted to change the display font used by the List Manager routines to
- something other than Chicago (to a font I designed, if it makes any
- difference). It seems that to do this, I have to write my own list
- initialization procedure instead of selecting the default used by
- LDraw and other such routines. Anyone have any suggestions as to how
- this might be accomplished? I bet Inside Macintosh describes how
- somewhere, but I am on top of a mountain for the next few months, with
- nary a Mac reference in sight.
-
- Any help, pointers, or suggestions (other than "buy I.M.!") would be
- greatly appreciated. Post or email, your choice. Relevant stats: Mac
- SE running Sys6.0.8, Think C 4.0.5, no ObjOriented or Class Libraries
- action, just vanilla C.

- Mucho danke,
- Brad
