  12.     Does anyone know if there is a bug in the System 7 finder which fouls 
  13. up the font used to write the names of files and folders, both inside finder 
  14. windows and on the desktop.  I've encountered this problem on a Mac II ci (I 
  15. don't remember what applications were running at the time and can't 
  16. reproduce it) and now I have reports of a similar problem on a network of 
  17. Classic II's and LC II's with all extensions turned off.  They report it as a 
  18. problem involving an application that I'm maintaining, but I can't find 
  19. anywhere that the code writes to the SysFont global.  I suspect a finder bug 
  20. since it occurred on my machine at a time when the accused application was 
  21. not running had not been run since startup.  I would prefer responses to
  22. CDA0304@applelink.apple.com.
