- Yes, I realise the title refers to a common event! However, the
- corruption is interesting and unusual.

- Often when a crash occurs, the INIT file, which is open, is not
- touched. However, sometimes, both resource and data forks
- become empty, although the file remains at its original size
- and can be copied. Presumably although the resource fork
- appears to contain no resources, it does contain data.

- What is likely to have happened to the resource map? What, if
- anything, am I likely to be able to do about it?
