  16. If you want any richness, the ability to compile Unix-like tools
  17. easily, etc., the only thing for you is MPW.  Yes, it has a learning
  18. curve, but that is part of the command line territory.  Yes, it costs
  19. money, but if you wanted a cheap command line the Mac was the wrong
  20. computer to buy/borrow.
