- Trick #1
-
- You can use the Sys 7 "LaserWriter" package under sys 6. I've
- done this. I was working in an environment where there was a good
- deal of "Sys 7 Paranoia", but the LW would have to reinitialize after
- someone printed with a different version.
-
- Trick #2
-
- This takes some quick handles. As soon as you hit the "Print"
- button, do a <cmd>-<shift>-F. Then it will start generating the
- PS file for you. Caution... There is a difference between
- using f and F. One gets you the Apple dict included with the
- print job (esstentially the contents of the LaserWriter Prep
- file). If you are intent on taking this PostScript file to
- anther system you should make sure that the dictionary is in there.
