  19. This is just pure theory, but I think the explanation is that the
  20. Finder saves this kind of info only when you unmount the disk (or some
  21. such.) Anyway, when you crash and restart it doesn't have a chance to
  22. write these settings to disk. I've had it happen too (on both an SI
  23. and an SE/30).
