- This is just pure theory, but I think the explanation is that the
- Finder saves this kind of info only when you unmount the disk (or some
- such.) Anyway, when you crash and restart it doesn't have a chance to
- write these settings to disk. I've had it happen too (on both an SI
- and an SE/30).
