- The Mac started out as a 'pascal' machine, but as the world
- and languages evolved C became the way to go, although much
- pascal remains. At the moment I would say that most of the 'new'
- work on the mac is being done in C and most of the example code
- is available in C as well.

- If you're just starting out with programming macs, go with
- Think C for a start. It has a MUCH shorter learning curve than
- does MPW, although MPW cannot be beat for raw horsepower and
- flexibility. As you develop your skills you may want to consider
- migrating.
