- A friend just found a great deal on a Quantum 80 meg hardrive...
- if I can make it work. It's a 3.5" with an Apple sticker. I
- tried the SC HD Setup that came with System 7 and no luck!
-
- I get a message that it "can't read the necessary info from the
- drive" and can't get any further. Ideas? The other thing which
- may have some bearing on this is that there is a short length of
- flat cable coming off the drive, ending in a keyed connector with
- four holes. There is nothing like this coming off my current 40
- meg drive. This cable is in addition to the connectors for the
- power and SCSI.
-
- The drive spins up, but nothing else happens....
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
