  13. I have what appears to be a strange problem.  The lab that I work in has 4
  14. different Macs - a Quadra 900, IIfx, and 2 IIsi's, each with its own 
  15. personalized name and corresponding icon.  Additionally, they're networked
  16. to
  17. the local AppleTalk network, and the Quadra and IIfx have their own IP 
  18. addresses (for Telnet/FTP purposes).  Recently, my advisor switched
  19. secretaries,
  20. and the new one would like to change the hard disk icon.
  21.  
  22. Here's the problem:  When I try to change the icon on the hard disk (copy
  23. the icon, go to the Get Info box, and paste the icon in), the only option I
  24. have is 
  25. to copy (not cut, paste, etc.).  Am I doing something wrong?  Have any of
  26. you
  27. had this problem?

  29. The IIsi is running Liaison and has its file sharing capacity turned on.  I
  30.  
  31. tried this with the Quadra and ran into the same problems.  I turned the
  32. file sharing off and tried to paste a new icon in, and could still only
  33. choose
  34. copy.
