- Hello--
-
- I have a friend with a Mac Classic II and she would like to use a Hayes
- Smartmodem 2400 with it. From my very limited expirience with Macs, I seem
- to remember a modem port (nine pin) on the Mac (although the machine that
- I have knowledge of is now about 8 years old!). If this is the case, can
- I use a standard nine pin to 25 pin serial cable (IBM style) to connect
- the Mac to the modem, or does the Mac have a different configuration. If
- it does have a different configuration, could someone out there give it
- to me so I could construct the cable that I need.
-
- Please e-mail your responses to me. Thank you.
