- Thanks for all the replies to my query about
- TrueType being slow on my SE. Here's a rough
- summary of the replies:

- 1. Use the old bitmaps for screen fonts, but
- leave out the larger bitmaps so the printer will
- use the truetype fonts. Dramatic speed improvement.

- 2. Use the WordPrinter Init, upgrade RAM, use
- RAMdisk (from sumex) to copy System Folder automagically
- to RAM disk.

- 3. Upgrade to SE/30 ($$ dancing before my eyes...);
- use BitFont (maybe at sumex) to rasterise the truetype
- fonts to often-used sizes.
