- Actually, I finally got a chance to try it (assuming the 16bit mode in a
- IIvx is the same as a Q900). And Hitting grays in 16bit mode has
- absolutely no effect. The screen remains in color, and only 16 grays
- (or any primary color) are possible. So to have 256 grays, you must be
- in 8bit or 24bit modes. No other will work.
