  18. There is a utility on SUMEX (/info-mac/util/tt-converter-13.hqx, I believe)
  19. which does a so-so job of converting both ways. Any of the commercial font
  20. utilites (Fontographer, Metamorphosis, FontMonger, etc.) should now be able
  21. to do that as well. Ares, makers of FontMonger, have just come out with a new
  22. utility called FontHopper, which simply translates between Mac & Windows
  23. TrueType, PS Type 1, and PS Type 3 formats, in batch mode if desired.
  24. TT-Converter, above, seems to be missing something -- I could print text
  25. entered in a translated Win31 TT font from PageMaker with no problem, but
  26. Word substituted Courier every time.
