- }my mac running sys7. Is this possible? How is it done?
-
- There is a utility on SUMEX (/info-mac/util/tt-converter-13.hqx, I believe)
- which does a so-so job of converting both ways. Any of the commercial font
- utilites (Fontographer, Metamorphosis, FontMonger, etc.) should now be able
- to do that as well. Ares, makers of FontMonger, have just come out with a new
- utility called FontHopper, which simply translates between Mac & Windows
- TrueType, PS Type 1, and PS Type 3 formats, in batch mode if desired.
- TT-Converter, above, seems to be missing something -- I could print text
- entered in a translated Win31 TT font from PageMaker with no problem, but
- Word substituted Courier every time.
