  44. Summer has passed and the leaves are turning, a point often considered
  45. the end of one life and the imperceptible beginnings of another in
  46. a cycle that has no real beginning or ending. As it is with nature
  47. so it goes with the endeavors of humans, nations rise and fall, hemlines
  48. reveal more or less, and businesses prosper then fail, nothing is
  49. constant except the eternal Tao.

  51. Beagle Bros has closed it's business doors. The reasons are varied
  52. and sundry and the "what if's" are probably best left for nit-picking
  53. historians, I do not care to comment on it at this time. However the
  54. demise of BeagleWorks is only superficial.  BeagleWorks has been acquired
  55. by WordPerfect Corporation and will rise anew under a different name.
  56. Rest assured the list of registered users is part of the deal and
  57. you will be supported. Flash has will be handled by Quality Computers
  58. as our Apple II products currently are.

  60. Most of the employees were hired almost immediately by local computer
  61. firms, some are leaving the area to take jobs out of state. Surprisingly
  62. for being in an economic "recession" there are a lot of software companies
  63. looking for employees. Personally I will take a sabbatical for a while
  64. and search for a future course, maybe it's time for major change in
  65. direction. I have my G.I. Bill to use up and will probably start school
  66. next semester. For the meantime I am remaining on here for a few weeks
  67. as a caretaker and to help with the transition. However, the phone
  68. lines have been disconnected and calling Beagle Bros will get you
