- I have a weird parent I am trying to convince to switch to a Mac
- platform from his inadequate TI 99/4A (with a whopping 52K of RAM!)
-
- Query: He insists that he should be able to drive a Daisy wheel
- printer from the Mac (else, no go), because, although he is
- semi-retired, he still has a business, and he wants a clear, crisp
- impact printer for his forms, and is positively against all forms of
- dot matrix, 24-pin and otherwise.
- Is this possible (never mind preferrable; I consider it a
- considerable waste of a Graphics machine)? What drivers will do
- this? What kind of cabling (null modem??)?
- He is using an old Diablo Daisy Wheel printer (he also has a
- Smith-Corona Daisy wheel; he'll want BOTH to work, the old coot!)
-
- Please E-mail me directly.
