  21. I found the problem.  If you'll recall, I was asking that a button
  22. respond with a certain effect on unlock screen.  Well, it turns out that
  23. on my machine (LC 10/80, 12" color monitor set to thousands of colors)
  24. when the monitor is set to thousands of colors, HC does not execute some
  25. screen commands: unlock screen with (whatever) is overridden and
  26. scrolling in fields set to scroll is very slow.

  28. Whereas when the monitor is set to 256 colors or B & W, no problem, all
  29. works as it should.  After further testing, it seems that the only time
  30. it has problems is when in the thousands of colors mode, color or greys.

  36. P.S. Unlock screen still works but the visual effect part is what's
  37. overridden.
