I am very disapointed, that the quality of the peripherals in the macs
is getting lower and lower.
OK, my IIvx is ugly. I knew that before.
I didn't know before that the vx has only a 16MHz Bus speed, otherwise
I would had buy a ci.
But I cannot understand, why they take these slow IBM internal harddisks.
Speedometer 3.1 gave this Harddisk a 1.98.
The same test with an external Quantum LPS240 showed a 3.2.
The point is, that in the past the Macs, where high-quality fast machines.
They had not the fastest CPU's, but the other components where always fitting to the rest. Now they put in a fast CPU and try to save money on the peripherals.
