  22. The next few years? Next year will be interesting enough. Someone
  23. from Silicon Graphics told me that by the end of next year they will have
  24. a $5000 machine that's _faster_ than any uniprocessor machine they
  25. currently make. By that time, we should also have a pretty good idea
  26. whether DEC and IBM will survive and of course how the Apple/IBM joint
  27. ventures are going to do.
