  17. I am trying to get a Mac, with a frame grabber, and a camera to sync up. 
  18. What I want to do is have the Mac detect the flash from the camera and
  19. send a signal to the frame grabber to grab an image. I thought I'd use an
  20. ADB device to send the "command-I" signal to the frame grabber software
  21. but I quickly found out that this is not as simple as detecting the flash 
  22. and sending an ASCII code down the bus...seems there is a lot of stuff
  23. going on over the ADB and this has been a little too complicated for me.

  25. Does anyone know of a better method for me to accomplish this task, or 
  26. does anyone out there have a schematic for and ADB device that will
  27. perform
  28. the task I want to accomplish, or do you know of any comercial device that
  29. can accomplish this (with little or no modification)?

  31. What I'd like is to get a preview on the Mac's screen of what the camera
  32. is
  33. putting on film. This would be used as a "live proofing station".
