- Re the SE with internal 20-meg drive; I just had occasion to ask
- Berkeley Mac User Group's advice on ours which is flaky -- usually
- "not there" but sometimes shows up on boot for a while, then fades out.

- Their advice: "that's typical of those old Miniscribes" and the best
- approach is probably just to take the drive out (replace it, or leave it
- out and use an external hard disk). They're gonna look at ours next
- week and see if any disk tools have a chance at salvaging it. But
- it's said to be a familiar problem these drives have with age.
