- I called Alysis today...
- Their DPI-on-the-fly software is only distributed through NEC.
-
- I then called Bob Metz at NEC...
- He indicated that they will not sell the DPI-on-the-fly software at
- this time. It is only available (free) to owners of NEC monitors.
- NEC assumes no liability for its use on other monitors. In fact,
- the software may actually permanently harm some monitors. The
- software may eventually become available for use with other monitors
- including the E-Machines T16 II. Until then, it is potentially
- dangerous to use the software on non-NEC monitors. I'm not saying
- that the software *will* harm the E-Machines monitor or any other
- particular monitor, just that there are no guarantees by NEC.
