- Has anyone got the NEC CDR-74 to work with any macs?
-
- I have driver version 2.25.
-
- The trick is I am using a IIfx, and the only way the machine will boot is
- with no termination on the cd-drive. When a disk is inserted, an icon
- appears
- when the icon is opened an error -127 pops up in an alert.
-
- I have the drive set at SCSI address 1 which is otherwise vacant. I have
- succesfully used an apple cd drive on the same machine.
-
- Now, I have been able to read a disc with the drive, but I had to reinstall
- voice navigator II on the SCSI port too. I would normally not mind having
- VN II except it clashes with NFS/share.
-
- Why would the drive work when VN II is connected and not work when
- VN II is unhooked. (both devices are unterminated, the only termination
- is on the IIfx's hard disk). VNII is address 6, NEC is at address 1
- HELP!

- Thanks,
