- I have a Mac IIsi that has 4 MB on the motherboard and 4 256KB
- SIMMs in the 4 RAM banks for a total of 5 MB. I recently took
- those 4 256KB SIMMs out of the sockets and installed 4 1MB SIMMs.
- However, when I restarted the computer, the "About the Macintosh..."
- window still shows 5 MB! Am I missing something? Do I need to "set"
- some switch or something? Why isn't the Mac recognizing the new
- SIMMs rated at 80ns? Please help. Thanks.
