- I have a MacII with 20MB installed (I also have 5 NUBUS cards installed) and
- am able to access all 20MBs. I don't have the SuperDrive/ROM upgrade either.

- You only need to install MODE32 (& Sys 7) to access the extra memory.

- BTW, the PAL-4MB SIMMS are installed in 4 sockets at the left, and the 1MB
- SIMMS are installed in the right-most 4 sockets.
