  14. We have a user center utilized by faculty and students offering
  15. an Appletalk network of 15 macs (overseen by a MacII fileserver: 40M
  16. hard drive--approx. 12M free).  Recently we have noticed a slow down
  17. in network performance and I was wondering if anyone out there has any
  18. suggestions on diagnostics/optimizations/etc that can be done.  I'm
  19. particularly interested in procedures and if necessary, in software
  20. (product names please) that we can purchase to help evaluate the
  21. net's performance.  Do you think this problem could be as simple
  22. as optimizing the server's hard drive?  (Incidentally this lab has
  23. been in operation for approximately 2 years with no similar problems).
