- You may want to check on compatability of the Rocket with the
- 8.24 card. I was told by Radius tech support that the Rocket (all
- 3 versions, I assume) was "mostly compatible". This means that it
- works but only with the QuickDraw acceleration on the Rocket
- board turned of
-
- This information may be out-of-date. They also told me that the
- Rocket was incompatible with an E-machines DoubleColor card.
- The nice folks at E-machines tell me they have fixed that problem
- and their new cards are completely compatible with the Rockets.
- (Just turn off the QuickDraw acceleration on the new DoubleColor
- cards and turn on the QuickDraw acceleration on the Rocket.)
-
- You can reach Radius tech support at (408) 434-1012, ext. 1 for
- rocket tech support. Radius sales number is 800-227-2795
- Radius fax-back number is 800-966-7360.
-
- And I haven't decided between Daystar and Radius yet, either.
