  12. After many, many years, the battery on my archaic Mac SE seems to finally
  13. be dead.  Actually, since I don't use it very much, it may have died
  14. a year ago.  But now I'm pressing it into service as a QuickMail server,
  15. and, although I usually just leave it on all the time, when I do shut
  16. it down, I need to immediately set the time, etc.

  18. The battery appears to be soldered on to the motherboard.  Does anyone
  19. know a source for replacement, and whether I can avoid some work with
  20. the soldering iron?
