- I just received my IIvx, and I don't understand what you are all
- talking about when you say it's "fugly." Granted, I really dislike the
- way the case opens (sliding off the front, rather than standard Mac lid),
- but I rather like the profile it cuts. I have the 5/80CD, and the bays of
- the SuperDrive and CDROM look cool.
- Apple, not everyone hates the look, but I agree that the feel sucks.

- I have to admit to some aggravation at the release of the Centris
- 650 just three months after the IIvx comes out. In retrospect, I think the
- point should have been made that the IIvx is a IIsi-upgrade, and that the
- Centris 650 will replace the IIci.
- The bottom line is 'caveat fuckin' emptor.' I'm not about to tell
- Apple to stop releasing new machines, but I'm disappointed that this one
- turned out the way it did.
- I can only hope that the Centris is more expensive than I paid for
- my IIvx.
