- I hadn't thought about the RAM that was soldered into the motherboard. You
- also mentioned a good point. Apple could have changed the speed of installed
- simms at some point. Maybe when they went from 2/40 to 3/40. Anyway, I'd be
- interested in knowing how many people have tried the upgrade and bought their
- IIsi when it was first released. I bought mine during the first week they were
- released. At the time it was the 2/40 config. Anyone done the upgrade within
- and bought their machine say during the first month of release?
