- You're thinking of the IIfx, which had a bug that would corrupt
- "hints". This only meant that when it had to defragment blocks of
- memory, it would look in completely the wrong place for a good point
- to start from, wasting quite a bit of time (nanoseconds, but they add
- up). No data corruption or system crashes could result from this,
- though.
