- This is essentially a followup to my previous post about two
- monitors. The problem seems to be this card I have in some
- way. My other MAC IIcx has a "Macintosh Display Card 630-...",
- it works fine with System 7.0 and corresponding APPLE 13" color display.
- I have System 7.0.1 installed (with tuneup disk installed) on the other
- MAC IIcx and a "820-0600-A Macintosh Display Card 670-" card with the
- same kind of APPLE color monitor (13" RGB). The latter refuses to
- work, no display on bootup but system does boot as if it thinks everything
- is okay (can tell from action of hard disk). I swapped out the newer card
- (the 670) to the other MAC and it didn't work their either. The ROM on
- this board says "341-0868 (C) APPLE COMPUTER INC. 1986-1991 ALL
- RIGHTS RESERVED W5". The board in question is also (C) 1990/91 (newer than
- the other board I have (630) that does work.
-
- Any ideas?
