- Taligent is a software only company. It is "independent" of Apple (and
- IBM). In order to succeed, the Taligent OS needs to run on more platforms
- than just the PowerPC. Not only do I expect their OS to run on the very
- first PowerPC but on the RS6000 and 680[34]0 Macs as well. I wouldn't be
- surprised to see a port for 80[345]86 PCs. I would be surprised if the OS
- were not eventually ported to the Alpha and SPARC architectures as well.
