  11. In case it wasn't clear, I'd like to thank EVERYONE who has replied to
  12. my messages.  You people have saved my day!

  14. How in the world do you get the menus working in 4D when you leave the
  15. first menu bar?

  17. My menu bar #1 works fine, but when I select an option [say add
  18. purchase] and bring up another menu bar and try to select an option on
  19. it [show help for add purchase or print purchase]...none of the options
  20. work.  Somewhere in the book it says to use negative numbers for
  21. runtime...I tried that everywhere I could thing of but that did not work.

  23. The problem I see is that the menu item does not perform the procedure
  24. assigned to it.

  26. I did some more looking around and I have also found a couple of
  27. commands which I do not understand: "Check Item" and "Menu selected" 
  28. The thing is I don't know if these options are of any use to my problem.
