- I use AD 1.0.7i on a PowerBook 140 40 MB HD.
-
- It works well enough... The latest version 2.x has some desirable features.
-
- The most noticeable AD effect is decompression while starting Word 5.0a.
-
- I can't provide a comparison between startup with/without AD but do notice
- that the use of 'Change', 'Spelling' and other actions will cause AD to
- decompress 'modules' of Word each time a feature is used.
-
- AD does work well and increased effective size of the 40MB HD to ~55MB.
