- Hello,
- I have System 7.0.1, and Norton Utilities' Speed Disk. I have an 80
- meg hard drive that likes to get "dirty" now and then. I created a High-
- Density system 7 disk with a RamDrive INIT on it. I use this "Emergency Disk"
- to start up the mac. Then I copy the Speed Disk program from my Hard Drive
- to the Ram Drive. Then I run Speed Disk from the Ram Drive.
-
- I have never had this fail on me. I then Restart using the
- Hard Drive, and all works well and smooth.
-
- Good Luck,
- Chris Reynolds
