- Does anybody have any experience with high speed data communcation
- under DOS and/or windows 3.1 on the Toshiba 3300SL laptop? What about
- the 1850?
-
- From what their tech support told me, the 3300SL does not contain a
- 16550 UART chip (or other fifo chip), but neither does it contain a
- traditional 8550(?) UART.
-
- So my question is, is this machine useful for high speed network
- connectivity to a network through SLIP?
-
- Thanks,
