  12. Does anybody have any experience with high speed data communcation
  13. under DOS and/or windows 3.1 on the Toshiba 3300SL laptop?  What about
  14. the 1850?

  16. From what their tech support told me, the 3300SL does not contain a
  17. 16550 UART chip (or other fifo chip), but neither does it contain a
  18. traditional 8550(?) UART.
  19.  
  20. So my question is, is this machine useful for high speed network
  21. connectivity to a network through SLIP?
