  12. I'll be installing Linux on a discontinued T3100SX from Toshiba.  One of 
  13. the pieces of info needed for installation is the number of hard drive 
  14. heads.  This particular machine is the 40M HD model with 860 cylinders and
  15. 82,559 sectors.  Would anyone have knowledge of the number of heads on 
  16. this system's hard drive?

  18. I've already run PC Tools 6 on the system and the program doesn't provide 
  19. info on the number of heads.  Unfortunately, PC Tools is also the only 
  20. disk utility I have.
