- Question: I have a friend who currently develops UNIX-based engineering apps
- and demos them on SPARC-based laptops (I think..), but he would like to
- find a cheaper "demo" solution. I've read a few of the UNIX-on-PCLaptop
- discussions on here in the past, but nothing really sticks in my mind.
- He needs at least 200mb of drive space, so nothing up till now has been
- suitable. But, I recently ran across the fact that TI offers their TM4000
- 486/25dx laptops with 200mb of space. Is there any reason this shouldn't
- work?
-
- I don't have any UNIX experience, my friend has no PC experience. Before
- we embark on a demo-unit test run of a UNIX system on this, we would
- appreciate any comments/suggestions/etc..
-
- Thank you.
